Privacy Choices

Got 10 Minutes? gives you control over optional features that store or sync data. This page explains how to manage those choices on your iPhone. For a full description of what we process, see our Privacy Policy.

iCloud Sync

Got 10 Minutes? enables iCloud Sync by default to back up your goals, sessions, milestones, and reminders to your personal CloudKit database in iCloud so you can sync across devices signed into the same Apple ID. You can turn it off at any time.

Turn off iCloud Sync

  1. Open Got 10 Minutes?.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap iCloud sync (Data & Backup).
  4. Turn off Enable iCloud Sync and confirm.

Turning sync off keeps your goals on this device and removes the app’s data from iCloud. Other devices signed into the same Apple ID will no longer receive updates from this app.

Restore from iCloud

  1. Open Got 10 Minutes? → Settings → iCloud sync.
  2. Ensure Enable iCloud Sync is on and you are signed into iCloud.
  3. Tap Restore from iCloud (shown when a restore may be needed, for example after reinstalling).

Stay on Wi‑Fi, keep the app open on the Goals tab, and allow up to a minute for your goals to download. You can also manage iCloud storage for Got 10 Minutes? through iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Motivications™ Notifications

Motivications™ are optional local midday notifications with a short, goal-focused quote. They are off by default until you enable them in Settings. iOS will ask for notification permission when the app first schedules them.

Turn off Motivications™

  1. Open Got 10 Minutes? → Settings.
  2. Under Notifications, turn off Enable Motivications™.

Goal Reminder Notifications

You can set per-goal reminder times in the app. These are scheduled as local notifications on your device — we do not send remote push notifications.

Disable goal reminders

  1. Remove reminders from individual goals in the app, or
  2. Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Got 10 Minutes? and turn off Allow Notifications.

Session Live Activity

While a timer session is running, the app can show a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with your goal name and progress. This data stays on your device; no remote push is used.

Disable Live Activities

  1. Open iOS Settings → Got 10 Minutes?.
  2. Turn off Live Activities, or
  3. Use iOS Settings → Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID) to disable Live Activities system-wide.

Home Screen Widget

The Got 10 Minutes? widget reads summary data (goal names, today’s progress, momentum) from on-device storage shared with the app through an Apple App Group. Removing the widget or deleting the app removes that display; no separate cloud account is used for the widget.

Remove the widget

  1. Long-press the widget on your Home Screen.
  2. Tap Remove Widget.

Profile Name for Reports

You may optionally add a first and last name in Settings → Your Profile. This name stays on your device, is used only in PDF reports you export, and is not uploaded to iCloud.

Remove your name

  1. Open Got 10 Minutes? → Settings → Your Profile.
  2. Tap Remove name from reports and confirm.

On-Device App Data

Goals, sessions, settings, and reminders are stored locally on your device.

Delete individual goals

Delete goals from the app. Recently deleted goals move to Settings → Recycle Bin until you permanently remove them or restore them.

Delete all local app data

  1. Delete Got 10 Minutes? from your home screen, or
  2. Use iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Got 10 Minutes? → Delete App.

Reinstalling starts with fresh local storage unless you restore from iCloud with sync enabled.

Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple. To manage subscriptions or purchase history, use Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device, or Apple’s account management tools at account.apple.com.

To restore purchases in Got 10 Minutes?, use the restore option on the upgrade screen in the app.
