Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Monettech, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Got 10 Minutes? mobile app and related website at monettechllc.com/got10minutes (together, the “Service”).

Got 10 Minutes? is designed as a privacy-light productivity app. We do not operate our own servers, user accounts, analytics platform, or advertising network. Your goals and session history are stored on your device and, when you choose to use it, in your personal Apple iCloud account through CloudKit. Where data leaves your device, it is processed through Apple’s services (for example, iCloud sync, Live Activities, widgets, and in-app purchases) under your Apple ID.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Monettech, LLC is the data controller for information processed through the Got 10 Minutes? app — that is, we decide what goal and session data is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud Sync, what is synced to your iCloud account. We do not operate backend servers that receive or store your personal data.

Apple Inc. provides iCloud, CloudKit, the App Store, StoreKit, Live Activities, widgets, and iOS itself. Apple processes payment data and hosts iCloud files under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Apple is an independent controller for its platform services and a service provider when hosting data on our behalf.

Contact (Monettech): support@monettechllc.com

For privacy-related requests (access, correction, or deletion), contact us using the email above. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law. Because we do not hold a central copy of your goal data, many requests can be fulfilled on your device (see Privacy Choices).

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use Got 10 Minutes?, the following information may be processed:

Data Where it is stored Purpose
Goals (name, color, icon, schedule, reminders, milestones, completion status) On your device (SwiftData). When iCloud Sync is enabled (on by default; can be turned off in Settings), synced to your private CloudKit database in iCloud. Track your goals and display progress across the app, widgets, and insights.
Work sessions (start/end times, duration, manual entries, notes you add) On your device. Synced to iCloud when iCloud Sync is on. Record time invested toward goals and power analytics, momentum, and reports.
App settings (appearance, week start day, list sort order, Motivications™ toggle, iCloud Sync preference) On your device (UserDefaults and app storage). iCloud Sync preference is local; synced goal data follows your iCloud Sync setting. Personalize the app and remember your preferences.
Profile name (optional first and last name for exported PDF reports) On your device only. Not uploaded to iCloud. Include your name on PDF reports you export and share from the app.
Widget summary (goal names, today’s progress, momentum, invested time) On your device, shared between the app and the home screen widget via an Apple App Group. Display your progress on the home screen widget without opening the app.
Live Activity state (active session timer, goal name, today’s progress) On your device while a session Live Activity is active. No remote push is used. Show your in-progress session on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Local notifications (Motivications™ midday quotes, per-goal reminder alerts) Scheduled on your device by the app. iOS delivers them only if you grant notification permission. We do not use remote push notifications. Send optional encouragement and goal reminders you have allowed.
Subscription status (Pro membership) On your device. Transaction processing is handled by Apple through StoreKit. Unlock Pro features (unlimited goals, milestones, additional reminders) and restore purchases.
Deleted goals (Recycle Bin) On your device until permanently deleted. Synced to iCloud when iCloud Sync is on. Let you recover recently deleted goals before permanent removal.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
  • We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.

3. Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Similar Laws)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract / app functionality: Storing goals and sessions, applying settings, delivering purchases, running timers, widgets, and core app features.
  • Legitimate interests: Refreshing widget snapshots in the background and maintaining a reliable app experience, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent: Local notifications (iOS permission prompt). Motivications™ are off until you enable them in Settings. iCloud Sync is enabled by default for convenience; you can disable it anytime in Settings → iCloud sync (Data & Backup).

4. Third-Party Services

Got 10 Minutes? uses the following third-party services that may process data according to their own policies:

  • Apple iCloud / CloudKit — backup and sync of goals, sessions, milestones, and reminders when iCloud Sync is enabled (on by default; disable in Data & Backup). Apple Privacy Policy
  • Apple App Store / StoreKit — Pro subscription processing and purchase restoration. Apple Privacy Policy
  • Apple ActivityKit — session Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Apple Privacy Policy
  • Apple WidgetKit — home screen widget display. Apple Privacy Policy

When you export a PDF report and share it through the iOS share sheet, the recipient or service you choose (for example, Mail or Files) is governed by that service’s privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

  • On-device data is kept until you delete goals, empty the Recycle Bin, reset settings, or delete the app.
  • iCloud data is kept until you turn off iCloud Sync (which removes the app’s CloudKit zone from iCloud), or you remove the data through your Apple ID / iCloud settings.
  • Profile name is kept on your device until you remove it in Settings → Your Profile.
  • Purchase records are retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies; we retain only subscription unlock state on your device.

6. Your Choices and Rights

See our Privacy Choices page for step-by-step instructions on managing iCloud Sync, notifications, profile name, widgets, and subscriptions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access information we process about you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for example, in the EU or UK)

Because we do not operate a central user database, many requests can be fulfilled directly on your device (delete app data, disable iCloud Sync, turn off notifications). Contact us if you need help.

7. California Privacy Notice

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. If you are a California resident and believe we process your personal information, you may contact us to request access or deletion as described above.

8. Children

Got 10 Minutes? is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. International Users

Got 10 Minutes? is distributed worldwide through the Apple App Store. If you use the app from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in countries where Apple operates data centers. We take steps to describe our practices clearly and to rely on appropriate legal bases for international transfers as required by applicable law.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited data we process. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You can reduce risk by keeping your device and Apple ID secure and using device passcodes or biometrics.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features or when laws change. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be described in App Store release notes.

12. App Store Privacy Label

Apple’s App Privacy “nutrition label” on the App Store product page summarizes data practices declared in App Store Connect. That label should be read together with this policy. If you notice a discrepancy, please contact us so we can correct our disclosures.
